Suncatcher

Suncatcher privacy policy

Effective date: 26 October 2026

In short

Who is responsible

Suncatcher is published by an individual developer, named as the seller on the app's App Store page. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean that developer. You can contact us at .

What the app collects

Nothing. Suncatcher does not collect, send or share any data about you. In particular:

What stays on your device

To keep your place, Suncatcher saves:

All of this is stored in the app's own private storage on your device. We have no copy of it and cannot see it. Music, sounds and haptics are played on your device.

Deleting Suncatcher from your device deletes this data. (The Offload App option in Settings keeps it, so that it comes back if you reinstall.) Because there is no account, we cannot restore lost progress.

Device backups

If you back up your iPhone or iPad with iCloud Backup or to a computer, iOS may include Suncatcher's saved progress in that backup, as it does for other apps' data. Your backups are under your control and are handled by Apple or by your computer; we cannot access them. Restoring a backup may bring the saved progress back.

Apple's services

You get Suncatcher through Apple's App Store. Downloads, updates, ratings and reviews, and TestFlight test versions are Apple services, covered by Apple's privacy policy.

If you allow it in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements (“Share With App Developers”), Apple may share crash reports and app usage statistics with us. This information comes from Apple, not from the app, and you can turn it off at any time. Apple also gives us download totals, which do not tell us who you are. If you write an App Store review, we can read it, as anyone can.

Support emails

If you email , your message passes through SimpleLogin, an email-forwarding service, which forwards it to the developer's mailbox. SimpleLogin handles messages under its own privacy policy.

We receive your email address, your message and any attachments, and the usual email details, such as the date and, if your email shows it, your name. We use them only to answer your question, including looking into any problem you report. We do not use them for marketing, add you to any list or share them with anyone else. Our legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us.

We delete support emails when the conversation is finished, and at the latest after 12 months. You can ask us for a copy of your emails that we still hold, or ask us to delete them sooner, by writing to the same address.

This website

This website is a few static pages hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The pages set no cookies, use no analytics and no scripts, and load nothing from other websites, such as fonts or images.

Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical connection data, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages, and keeps its own connection logs. Cloudflare explains how it handles this data in its privacy policy.

Links to other websites, such as Apple's, the Stained Glass website or the composers' pages, take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

Children

The app asks no one for personal information, children included, and it has no chat, sharing or online features. If you are a parent or guardian and your child has emailed us, contact us and we will delete the message.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a future version of the app handled data differently, we would update this policy before releasing that version.

Your rights and how to contact us

Because the app collects no data, we hold nothing about you from playing it. For support emails, you can ask for a copy or for deletion as described above. If you have a question or concern about privacy, email . Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
